Time tracking for Danløn
Time tracking and scheduling for Danløn
Employees clock in and out in Monoplan, and you approve the hours. Then one file moves hours and allowances into Danløn, so you do not type them again.
- 30-day free trial
- No payment card
No double entry
Hours are recorded once in Monoplan and moved to Danløn with one file.
Fewer payroll mistakes
You approve hours, breaks and corrections before the file is downloaded. What you approved is what reaches Danløn.
Allowances included
Evening, weekend and other allowances come along as separate lines, so nobody calculates them afterwards.

For your payroll administrator
What needs to be set up the first time
The details usually exist in Danløn already, so they only need to be entered in Monoplan. If something is missing, Monoplan stops the export and shows what to fill in.
- Company registration number
- The company’s eight-digit CVR is on every line of the file.
- Employee numbers
- Each employee needs the same employee number as in Danløn.
- Pay codes
- Hourly pay and each allowance get the pay code you use in Danløn.
- Danløn switched on
- An administrator turns on Danløn under Settings → Integrations.

What goes into the file
The file contains the pay lines Danløn needs to calculate payroll. Rates and amounts come from your setup in Monoplan.
- Hours for the period
- Approved hours for each employee, totalled per pay code and rate, after rounding, breaks and corrections.
- Allowances as separate lines
- Evening, weekend and other allowances are separate pay lines, so you can see them in Danløn.
- Leave and absence
- Only included once absence codes are set up and checked for your setup. Otherwise, register absence in Danløn.
Questions about Monoplan and Danløn
Does Monoplan have an integration with Danløn?
Monoplan creates a payroll file in Danløn’s import format, which you import into Danløn. It is a file export, not an API connection, so no data is sent automatically between the systems.
Which plan includes the Danløn payroll file?
Payroll files are included in Pro, which costs DKK 30 per active employee per month with a 12-month commitment, or DKK 35 without commitment. Prices exclude VAT, and you pay for at least 10 active employees.
What does the Danløn file look like?
The file has no header and one semicolon-separated line per pay line: company registration number, employee number, pay code, units, rate and amount. Numbers have no decimal separator and two implied decimals. The line 12345678;1234;1;750;14250;106875 means 7.50 hours at DKK 142.50, DKK 1,068.75 in total.
What happens if an employee has no employee number?
Monoplan stops the export and shows what is missing. The same applies if the company registration number is not filled in. That way, no file is created that Danløn cannot use.
Are allowances included in the file?
Yes. Each allowance is its own pay line with the pay code you chose for it, so you can see it separately in Danløn.
Are leave and absence included?
Only once the absence codes are set up and checked for your Danløn setup. Until then, register leave and absence directly in Danløn.
What if hours need correcting after the export?
An owner or administrator can reopen the period, correct the hours and approve again. Then download a new file, and make sure the same hours are not imported twice in Danløn.
Do we still use Danløn for payroll itself?
Yes. Monoplan is not a payroll system. Monoplan brings together the schedule, hours and allowances, and Danløn calculates and pays salaries. The employer is responsible for correct rates and payroll runs.
What if we use a payroll system other than Danløn?
See the overview of payroll files and integrations. Monoplan can also create a general CSV file for your bookkeeper or payroll system.
